“It was a great pleasure to welcome more than 100 in-person and online participants from different countries and continents at the Conference ALUMNI IMPACT BAROMETER & COMMUNITOR!”

During this conference, we have launched the Communitor by presenting and discussing its objectives, governance structure, and activities. The Outreach Team (OT) has been briefly presented. In the coming months, we will make sure to introduce all OT members by sharing their profiles and achievements. We have also presented a tentative schedule of activities and initiatives for the next six months. For more details, have a look at the below presentation.

The other two OT members, who presented their CM and CS initiatives, could not be physically present because of the Covid crisis and attended the conference online. Mr. Anton Willems Delanoy, the director executive of Profonanpe, introduced us to the programme Environmental Fund of Peru. This programme engages the local communities in monitoring and reporting on the productivity of local Palm fruits and the weather conditions. Follow the link to check the video and learn more about this programme.

Mr. Abu Said Juel Miah, the research coordinator at BRAC Bangladesh, shared with us the BRAC-facilitated project Community-led Monitoring of Public Services. This project focuses on monitoring the health, food, and cash distribution services provided to marginalized communities. Find more about this project by checking the video.

The #Communitor's members had the chance to ask questions, share opinions, and put forward proposals. Nevertheless, we hope that these interactions will continue. We encourage all #Communitor's members to contact us if they have any interesting suggestions, proposals, or feedback. If you are not yet a member but are willing to become one, fill in the registration form now.
